Enjoy a Motor-Free Quiet Lake, explore the calm clear waters below
Discover the serene beauty of Twin Lakes, central Alberta’s hidden gem.. This deep yet cozy lake is tucked away in Alberta’s wilderness just off of Hwy. 13 near Winfield. Known for its clean, pristine waters, Twin Lakes is a haven for kayakers, paddleboarders, swimmers, and anyone looking to reconnect with nature.
No motorboats are allowed so this calm and quiet lake is ideal for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. Its compact size means you’re never far from shore, and its peaceful waters make for a smooth, stress-free ride every time.
Circle the shoreline, soak up the sun, and keep your eyes peeled for the friendly local beaver, often spotted near the west side where the lake flows into a quaint little creek. Whether you’re exploring solo or out for a relaxing paddle with friends or family, Twin Lakes offers a perfect mix of tranquility and adventure.
This park fills up fast on sunny days and is a first come first serve basis.
If the park has been closed due to capacity, inform the park attendant that you have a booking with West Country Rentals and you will be let in.
